Shark Spots™ Original Decal
Shark Spots are inspired by the eyespots found on marine animals that evolved to deceive or deter predators. Printed at scale, the eye form references large marine predators such as orcas, one of the few natural threats to great white sharks, and mimics the appearance of a large watchful eye.
Designed for the underside of surfboards and watercraft, the decal combines this eyespot with bold black and white banding shown to disrupt visual recognition. By interrupting the board’s silhouette and visual profile, the pattern helps make the shape appear less familiar, less predictable, and potentially threatening when a shark approaches.
